Joseph Dreams = USA Prophetic Dreams Genesis 37:2- 8
(Joseph & the USA dream they will be the greatest among their brothers)
KEYS: coat = liberty -- patchwork =
GOD's people gathered from all nations -- dream = vision
These are the records of the generations of Jacob(GOD). Joseph
(USA), when seventeen years of age, was pasturing the flock with his
brothers (old world countries) while he was still a youth, along with
the sons of Bilhah, and the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives. And
Joseph(USA) brought back a bad report about them to their father.
Now Israel(GOD) loved Joseph (USA) more than all his sons, because he was the son of his old age, and he made him a varicolored tunic (coat of patchwork). His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, and so they hated him and could not speak to him on friendly terms.
Then, Joseph (USA) had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers (old world countries), they hated him even more. He said to them, "Please listen to this dream which I have had; for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf rose up and also stood erect, and behold, your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to my sheaf."
Then his brothers said to him, "Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?" So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

NOTE: The various uses of clothes, in Hebrew, are associated with the transgression of mankind. Thus, inner garments symbolize the related rebellion, theft, and shame. While the outer coat represents free will.

Let's just say, if you EVER had a sibling like little Joseph, it is EASY to understand the older brothers. Clearly, there is NO END to this kid's audacity. He shows-up on scene after life is established. He tattle-tales. BOOM. He's daddy's little favorite and flashing his stupid fancy coat around. Think of it. To top it off he's dreaming. About what? ABOUT WHAT??? You've got to be kidding me. He's lucky he made it out alive in my humble opinion...
ReplyDeleteCome on Average American. Joseph was part of God's plan to go to Egypt and to be second in command to Pharoah to sustain his brothers and father from famine. He forgave his brothers for causing him all the trauma he went through by being sold in to Egypt. You're speaking like he was an evil guy. He loved his father and brothers so much, so please don't speak of him as if he was evil. We have to have some love in our hearts for others. You speak as if you would have killed him if he were your brother. If you were his brother he would love you as well, so lets stop all the tough roughness and let's be kind to one another.
